Acute Respiratory Hub
Acute Respiratory Hub (ARI)
This page is for patients who have been referred to the ARI Hub. It tells you:
- Who the ARI Hub is for,
- What you can expect at your appointment,
- Information about the GP Practice you will be visiting.
Who is the ARI Hub for?
This service provides additional appointments for patients with acute respiratory symptoms, of any age, that have developed within the last 48 hours and are getting worse. Patients must not have tested positive for Covid and must be able to travel to one of the hubs.
What happens at the appointment?
When you arrive at the hub please follow any signage for the Acute Respiratory Hub. Do not go into the main practice reception area. You will be met by a receptionist and will wait for a GP or other health professional to see you. They will have access to your medical records and will update them as required, for your own GP’s information. They will be able to make referrals and issue prescriptions, if needed.
